Your CV and personal details which may include; first name, last name, address, email address, telephone number, employment history, date of birth, passport information, photo, current salary, social media accounts, bank details, emergency contact information, P45, NI number, tax information, visa details and / or any criminal records.

What we do with your data

Your information is held on a password protected file in a secure environment.

We do not sell or rent out personal information to any other organisations.

Simpson Recruitment's legal basis for processing your  personal data under article 4(11) of the GDPR. This states that opt-in consent is "any freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous indication of the data subject's wishes by which he or she, by a statement or by a clear affirmative action, signifies agreement to the processing of personal data relating to him or her." You give us your consent by choosing to forward your cv or providing your details via an email conversation or in another way of your choosing. You may opt-out at any point.

Simpson Recruitment also believe that it is reasonable to assume that any candidate that is looking for employment and forwarded their CV and personal information would be happy for us to process their data in order to contact them about positions that are relevant to their experiences.

Do not track

Please note that we do not alter our Site’s data collection and use practices when we see a Do Not Track signal from your browser.

Your Consent

By consenting to this privacy notice you are giving us permission to process your personal data specifically for the purposes identified.

Consent is required for Simpson Recruitment to process your personal data, but it must be explicitly given. Where we are asking you for sensitive personal data we will always tell you why and how the information will be used.

How we use the data

We will use your information to match to relevant job positions held on our database now and in the future and if you agree, forward these to the company in question. 


Data retention

When you submit your details on the Site, we will maintain your Information for our records unless and until you ask us to delete this information

If you change your mind

If you should ever wish to have your details removed from our recruitment search services, then please notify us with an email including the following statement in the Subject box; “Please remove my CV and personal details from the candidate database”, and we will do so immediately and without question.

We may update this privacy policy from time to time in order to reflect, for example, changes to our practices or for other operational, legal or regulatory reasons.

Your rights
